The man, shot by the police during his arrest at 10:45 p.m. is also out of danger, she added.
“The judicial investigation begins under the direction of the prosecution”, added the prefect on Twitter, welcoming “the rapid and coordinated action of the police forces, the firefighters of the SDIS and the nursing staff of the hospital center of Château-Thierry”.
No track is privileged immediately, according to a source close to the file, which indicates that the attacker, a “very young man”, was not known to the police.
He first attacked his mother and 11-year-old brother at the family home, before attacking four people in the city center, according to this source.
