A large number of Pakistani businessmen are ready to take part in the process of Karabakh restoration.
As reported by Day.Az, this was stated by the executive director of the Pakistan Research Center for Community with a Shared Future, Khalid Taimur Akram, to Trend.
Speaking about the exchange of 15 previously signed documents between Azerbaijan and Pakistan, he noted in particular that the documents on preferential and transit trade are strategic agreements that will help expand cooperation in this area.
“Pakistan and Azerbaijan will not only become very big trading partners. In addition, Pakistan hopes to develop relations with Azerbaijan in the energy, trade and industrial sectors. A large number of Pakistani businessmen are ready to take part in the process of Karabakh reconstruction and, in general, to invest in Azerbaijan,” Akram said.
Speaking about the visit of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev to Islamabad, he stressed that the people
Pakistan is very pleased with this visit.
“For the Azerbaijani people, Pakistan is a second home. And for the Pakistani people, Azerbaijan is our home. Yesterday, the whole world saw that the President of Azerbaijan and our Prime Minister did not use any diplomatic words, but spoke to each other as brothers. Thus, it gave a very clear signal to the world about our brotherly relations,” he concluded.
