President Herzog spoke earlier this week with Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko and asked him to help with her release, so that she could return to Israel and celebrate the new civil year with her family. Despite the claims of the lawyer, a resident of the north of the country, that the cannabis was intended for medical use and licensed by the Ministry of Health in Israel, she was arrested.
