After about half an hour, the electric company issued a statement saying that electricity has returned to 90% of the houses and buildings that experienced a power outage in some of the streets in Givatayim and the Yad Eliyahu neighborhood in Tel Aviv. The power outage was caused by a fault in the transformers.

As a reminder, just today it was reported almost at the same time about a power outage at the Keshet news studios at 12 Raul Wallenberg Street in Tel Aviv, following a fire that broke out in the building’s parking lot. According to Ran Booker’s report: “The workers were evacuated from the building, the reporters put on make-up with cell phone flashlights, the reports were moved to the street.”
