“The Taste” is entering its 13th round and is once again looking for the best culinary talent in Germany.
In the new season, four-star chefs Frank Rosin, Tim Raue, Alex Kumptner and Alexander Herrmann will battle it out Wednesday, October 23, 2024, again for the best culinary talents of their teams. And above all there is the big question: Who will receive the 50,000 euros in prize money at the end of the nine episodes, who will also shine from the cover of their own cookbook and get their own winning dish in the shops?

Amateur and professional chefs have been competing against each other on “The Taste” on SAT.1 since 2013. Whoever creates the perfect gourmet spoon at the end will receive 50,000 euros and their own cookbook. The first challenge: In the blind tasting, the candidates have to match the perfect spoon dish to get a place in one of the four jury teams – made up of Tim Raue, Alexander Kumptner, Frank Rosin and Alexander Herrmann.
