Prabhas starrer Adipurush is one of the most awaited films by movie lovers. The makers have released the first look poster of the film which has been gaining attention since the announcement of the film. Directed by Om Rawat, Adipurush is a modern retelling of the Ramayana. Prabhas will appear as Raman in the film. Actor Prabhas shared the first look poster of Adipurush on social media with the caption ‘Join us as we embark on a magical journey from the banks of Sarayu River in Ayodhya, UP’. The poster has been released with the slogan ‘Celebrating the victory of good over evil’. The first teaser of the film will be released by the makers on October 2.
While Prabhas will be playing the role of Lord Rama, Saif Ali Khan will be playing the role of Ravana. It also stars Kriti Sanon as Sita, Sunny Singh as Laxman and Devadatta Nage as Hanuman. Apart from them, Vatsal Sheth, Sonal Chauhan and Thripti Thoradmal are also cast in the film. In Adipurusha, the part where Ravana rescues and brings back the abducted goddess Sita is visualized. After the period action film Tanhaji, Aadipurush is directed by Om Rawat. Adipurush is the most expensive Indian film ever made. This Brahmanda film is being made at a cost of more than 500 crores.
Adipurush was shot in more than 100 days. Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Om Rawat, Prasad Sutar and Rajesh Nair, the film is being released by T-Series Films. Karthik Palani is handling the cinematography of the film. The music is composed by Sachet Tandon and Sarijan Tandon. Adipurush will be released in five languages namely Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, Tamil and Malayalam. The film will release on January 12, 2023.
