Mumbai: A member of the Kerala team who reached the National Cycle Polo Championship in Nagpur has died. 10-year-old Nida Fatima died in the hospital after vomiting. He is a native of Alappuzha.

Nida was rushed to the hospital due to severe vomiting and got an injection here and her condition worsened. The information received from the hospital is that the life of the child who was admitted to the ventilator could not be saved.

It is reported that the Kerala players, including Nida, who came to compete in the national championship, faced severe injustice. The group including Nida came to the competition through a court order from the state.

But the National Federation did not provide accommodation and food for them. The team reached Nagpur two days ago and stayed in temporary facilities.
