Judge Javier Aranibar, member of Chamber I of the Salta Trial Court, was the one who sentenced the man to 12 years in prison, considering him the criminal perpetrator and materially responsible for the crime of sexual abuse with carnal access aggravated by being committed. against a minor under 18 years of age, taking advantage of the pre-existing situation of cohabitation, under the modality of a continuing crime.
The magistrate ordered the immediate arrest of the accused and his transfer to Prison Unit 1, at the same time that he ordered a medical examination and the extraction of genetic material for subsequent registration in the corresponding data bank.
The facts came to light when the victim’s mother took her daughter to the hospital in the town of El Carril, located 37 kilometers south of the capital of Salta, to have her checked out.
The gynecologist and hospital manager diagnosed that the minor was pregnant.
Later, the victim told the hospital psychologist that it was her stepfather who had gotten her pregnant, and told her that he had been abusing her for a long time.
The accused was at the hospital at that time, so the doctor who treated the girl reported the situation to the police personnel who were at the hospital at that time for another incident and the subject was transferred to the police station.
