Police officers called to a home in Pennsylvania found more than 150 reptiles in the home including 60 venomous snakes and one alligator. “No one should have so many poisonous snakes”

A man was found dead in his home in Aliquippa, northwest of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA, on March 22. Police said they found the 23-year-old man dead, although it is not clear how exactly the wolf died, but what is clear is that more than 150 reptiles were found in his home, including 60 poisonous snakes and a crocodile.

“There was a cobra, a rattlesnake inside, black mambas,” said Jim Bologna, one of the police officers. The officers also found a 3-year-old girl in a high chair next to a poisonous snake inside the house. As a result, the welfare workers were also called to the house. “Nobody should have that many venomous snakes,” Aliquippa resident Valerie McDermott told local media. “They need to be destroyed.”

Officials said that the girl was in the house with four other adults. The family is originally from Ohio and recently moved to Pennsylvania. According to officials, the family members moved to the place in order to sell the animals. “These people have a business that they run,” Bologna said. “They sell reptiles, venomous and non-venomous. They just moved here, about two months ago.”

The reptiles were taken to a regional pet store. The people renting the house in Aliquippa were allowed to stay in the house, but they could face fines.
