The Azerbaijani operating company <a href="https://time.news/azerbaijan-could-double-gas-exports-to-europe-as-it-prepares-to-host-the-next-climate-summit-in-2024/" title="Azerbaijan could double gas exports to Europe as it prepares to host the next Climate Summit in 2024″>COP29 has created a portal for media accreditation to work in the Green Zone within the framework of the COP29 climate conference.
According to Day.Az, accreditation for media representatives in the Green Zone, which will become a dynamic center of innovation and potential solutions to combat climate change, is open from October 9.
This portal is the only official source for submitting applications. The registration deadline is October 30 until 23:00 (GMT+4). The Green Zone will be organized and managed by the COP29 Presidency during the climate conference that Azerbaijan will host from November 11 to 22 this year.
The Green Zone, along with the Blue Zone, where official meetings and negotiations will take place during COP29, will be a space for a wide audience, including the public and private sectors, academics, youth, local communities, NGOs and civil society. For journalists, Green Zone accreditation provides ample opportunities to cover the conference and exclusively interact with organizations and individuals actively involved in climate action.
Accredited media representatives will be able to use the Media Center and other technical resources created for effective work in the Green Zone.
Accreditation details and additional information are available on the official COP29 website. Questions and requests regarding accreditation can be sent to the email address.
