On August 16, around 11:15, the intelligence-sabotage group of the Armenian armed forces tried to infiltrate the territory of Azerbaijan using the gaps between the combat positions located in the direction of the settlement of Istisu, Kalbajar region, in order to carry out terrorist-sabotage operations.
Day.Az reports that the Ministry of Defense released information about this.
According to information, as a result of the vigilance of our units, the provocation of the Armenian military was prevented with the support of our fire equipment. As a result, one member of the sabotage group was detained by our military personnel in an injured state. Other units of the intelligence-sabotage group were forced to retreat.
