On April 10, the Brest Regional Court announced the verdict in the criminal case of a 31-year-old resident of Baranavichy Anastasia Podgayska, which allegedly posted information on the situation in the regions of Russia and Belarus and training courses on Belarusian training grounds in telegram channels. She was accused of facilitating extremist activities (Part 1 of Article 361-4 of the Criminal Code).
The case was considered by a judge Andrei Vasilyukstate prosecutor – public prosecutor Alexander Batyushko.
On April 6, the state prosecutor demanded three years of restriction of freedom for Podgayska without referral to PUAT (“household chemistry”).
The court found her guilty and sentenced her to the term proposed by the prosecutor: three years of “home chemistry”. informs “Spring”.
The mother of three children, Anastasia Padgaiskaya, was detained at the end of 2022, and she was under house arrest until the trial. According to the investigation materials, in October 2022, Podgayskaya allegedly repeatedly sent photo and video files with text messages to the bot of the Telegram channel.
The information sent to her allegedly contained information about the situation in the regions of the Russian Federation and Belarus, as well as about exercises being conducted at joint military training grounds.
