The theme seeks to delve into the concepts and dimension the scope, development and impact, as well as the possible applications of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.

In addition, emphasis will be placed on the evolution of Machine Learning, especially in cybersecurity, where it has brought considerable benefits to protection technologies but, unfortunately, its potential also does not go unnoticed by those who seek to use it for malicious purposes.

On the other hand, Benjamín Carpio, Country Manager of ESET El Salvador, will present his talk “Cybersecurity technologies with automatic learning. The solution to our ills?”

With the advent of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, the inclusion of these advances in cybersecurity tools helps improve detection of cyber threats, but will this be enough?

In the presentation, it will be seen how the different technologies work in ESET products hand in hand with advanced Machine Learning and it will be discovered if this is the definitive solution to cyberattacks.

Meanwhile, Christian Denis Menéndez, Head of Technical Support Node of ESET Central America, will be in charge of the presentation “Not everything is Artificial Intelligence: A look at the techniques and tactics used by cybercriminals”.

In it, an event that happened recently that has never been seen before will be addressed: the leaking of tools and manuals used by cybercriminal groups in different attacks. The closing of the event will be in charge of Jorge Oliva, Regional Commercial Manager of ESET Central America, with his presentation “Intelligent Cybersecurity: From ESET’s vision”. Here, information about ESET solutions will be provided, combining them with its extensive experience in cybersecurity and the power of Artificial Intelligence.
