A Libyan navy ship docked in Tripoli on Monday with 235 migrants on board who were rescued in two separate operations in the area. The survivors included 54 children and 29 women. With the new drowning incident, the number of migrants lost in the Mediterranean Sea between Friday and Sunday rises to 170. On Friday, the bodies of three children were recovered, and about 100 migrants were considered missing after their boat sank, in an accident from which only 16 migrants, all of them young men, survived.
