The American studio Searchlight Pictures has presented on its YouTube channel a new trailer for the neo-noir thriller Nightmare Alley, a project by twice Oscar winner Guillermo del Toro. Beauties, of course, are all written there.
Recall that this is Del Toro’s first full-length directorial work since 2017, that is, from the romantic monster movie “The Shape of Water”.
Nightmare Alley is a remake of Goulding’s 1947 film, the next adaptation of the novel by William Grisham. Where the director did without his usual infernal hassles this time. The story is about an ambitious charlatan Carlisle (Bradley Cooper). He was unlucky enough to face a force that cannot be overcome – the manipulative psychiatrist Lilith Ritter (Cate Blanchett).
Other cast: Willem Dafoe, Richard Jenkins, Rooney Mara, Ron Perlman, Paul Anderson and Toni Collette.
