Engineer Muhammad bin Shatwan, Chairman of the Management Committee of the Arabian Gulf Oil Company, inaugurated the Masla oil field airport, after completing a maintenance and development process that included all its departments and facilities, and supporting it with the modern supplies and equipment necessary for its operation, in accordance with the specifications approved by the Civil Aviation Authority.
Bin Shatwan stressed, during a speech he delivered on the occasion, that “this project came to enhance the company’s ability to deal with operations in the oil field more efficiently, and it will also improve air transport services in the region in general, and it is an important step in the field of developing the infrastructure of the Arabian Gulf Oil Company.” .
The inauguration ceremony was attended by members of the company’s management committee, a group of department managers, and representatives of the company implementing the maintenance and development work.
The process of developing the Masla oil field airport comes within a wide-ranging strategy followed by the National Oil Corporation, to develop and rehabilitate the infrastructure of facilities belonging to the fields and oil companies.
