A resident of the Novgorod region, offended by the neighbors, set fire to their bathhouse and arbor, said the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
It all happened that night in Bronnitsa. When the firemen took their revenge on the flames, the police got down to business. Having found out that the arbor and the bathhouse had been set on fire, they attacked the trail of a thirty-two-year-old resident of the village.
The detained man did not deny. He confessed to the arson, attributing his actions to “hostility” towards neighbors.
The police are investigating all the circumstances of the incident. A criminal case was opened against the Novgorod citizen. The man has already been tried. He faces up to five years in prison.
