A three-day event full of cycling was organized from August 4 to 6 by A.O. Antios, which included a skill race and two MTB races.
All three events were crowned with competitive and organizational success, with the club issuing a statement stating the following:
“The three-day matches of our club A.O. were successfully held. Antios on August 4, 5 and 6.
With our first skill competition taking place on the beach of Kremastis with several wooden obstacle structures curated by Vassilis Kalafatas. The children enjoyed their participation trying to demonstrate excellent cycling skills in obstacle stations.
On the second day, XCC type MTB races took place on the hill of Kremastis, with 45 athletes taking part in a technical route that our association has created together with the children’s parents.
The third competitive day again had a MTB race in a beautiful place under the chronic diseases institution of Agios Andreas where again we had strong battles from the athletes on a fast track where we had created a ”rock garden”, a technical uphill and a small wooden bridge.
8 teams participated in our games, 2 from Athens, 2 from Kos and 4 from Rhodes.
In the setting up of our race routes and for the loading and unloading of the materials for the races, our sponsor was Xenakis Autokinita with the offer of the luxury VW Amarok farm car!
We would like to thank the director of Kremastis Lyceum Dimitris Grigoriadis, the president of Kremastis Michalis Drakos and Mr. Tsisimoiris for their help and offer.
