TELEVISION – Who will succeed singer Vincent Niclo, in his husky costume, big winner of the last season of Mask Singer ? For this very first prime time of season 6 on TF1, Friday May 3, two characters have already revealed their identities.
In the hamster costume, Jacques Legros was the first personality to be unmasked by the jury made up of four investigators: Kev Adams, Chantal Ladesou (back after season 4) and the two new additions Laurent Ruquier and Inès Reg.
In this first competition he faced a leopard who sang Tattoo Loreen et al My heart of Izia, as well as a pearl, which was tried on Talk to me by Isabelle Boulay and Peace Street by Zazie.
Among the clues revealed to help identify the TF1 presenter, joker on 1 p.m., he revealed that he was known for his humor… without being a comedian.
The hamster, alias Jacques Legros, sang Papaouté of Stromae and Message personnel by Françoise Hardy during the show.
The second personality to reveal her true identity, in the popcorn costume, was Chantal Goya.
Geishamourai and hippopotamus
In the second competition of the evening, she competed against a geishamourai, who sang I’m still dreaming of it by Gérald de Palmas and Voilà by Barbara Pravi, but also a hippopotamus who electrified the public on Crazy in Love by Beyoncé, then Flowers de Miley Cyrus.
To unmask the 81-year-old singer, the jury and viewers had the clue that she was a singer loved by children. The jury was then divided between Chantal Goya and Dorothée.
Popcorn, aka Chantal Goya, performed There is joy by Charles Trénet, then Caramel candies d’Annie Cordy.
