Hyderabad’s Disaster Response and Assets Monitoring Protection (HYDRAA) has taken the initiative to demolish South Indian film superstar Nagarjuna’s ‘N Convention Centre. On August 23, a part of the convention center was bulldozed.

A part of Nagarjuna’s establishment was demolished, the actor revealed

According to India Today, Nagarjuna’s ‘N Convention Center’ has been built on 10 acres of land. Allegedly, Nagarjuna built the center by occupying 1.12 acres of Thimidkunta lake land and 2 acres from the buffer zone. HYDRAA took steps to demolish the actor’s center as part of the illegal eviction drive.

The Indian Express reported that the convention center has been temporarily suspended following the high court’s order after parts of it were demolished.

In this regard, Nagajurna has given a post on his microblogging site X (Twitter). In it, the actor wrote, “Demolition of ‘N Convention’ center is very painful despite the stay order of the court. I have done no wrong. So I am making this statement to protect reputation.”

The convention center was not built on illegal land. Referring to this information, Nagarjuna wrote, ‘I have not constructed any building on any illegal land. It is built on private land. There is a court stay order not to break it. To be clear, it was broken based on incorrect information. I was not even given any notice this morning (August 24) that it would be demolished.’

Nagarjuna wrote that wrong information is being spread to people, ‘As a conscious citizen, I obey the laws of the country. Judgment on its demolition is pending. If the court judgment had gone against me, I would have taken steps to overturn it. People are spreading wrong information against me.’
