We’ve heard of rather delusional flight stories, but have you heard of a passenger who slammed into the plane’s wheels – and survived? probably not. Incredibly, for an 11-hour flight from South Africa to Amsterdam Airport in the Netherlands, an undercover passenger hid inside the plane’s wheels and miraculously managed to land safely at his destination.
According to Reuters, Dutch law enforcement agencies found the man crammed into the wheels under the fuselage. Throughout the long flight the same passenger stayed in the narrow slot and was only discovered after landing, when according to the border control he is in good health given the circumstances.
National Police spokeswoman Joanna Helmonds said the passenger’s age and whereabouts had not yet been determined, but he was staying at the hospital at the time of writing for comprehensive medical examinations. “Our first concern was first and foremost for his health. This is a very unusual event that someone managed to survive the cold at such a height – very unusual,” Helmonds said.

Reuters told the airline that it would not provide further details to the media until the authorities completed the investigation.
