A pedestrian was seriously injured in a car accident in Yavne

A 40-year-old pedestrian was seriously injured today (Friday), after being hit by a vehicle on the sea road in Yavne.

MDA medics and paramedics gave the injured woman medical treatment and evacuated her to Kaplan Hospital in Rehovot while performing CPR.

MDA paramedic, Liat Cohen: “The injured woman was lying on the sidewalk near the curb when she was unconscious without a pulse and without breathing and suffering from a severe head injury. During the initial medical treatment, we were told that she had been hit by a car.

We put her in an intensive care unit and evacuated her to the hospital while performing CPR when she was in critical condition.” (Photo: Archive)
