In Kerala, a person who could not pay a bank loan of Rs 12 lakh has won a lottery prize of Rs 70 lakh in 2 hours.
Phookunju (age 40), a fishmonger from Kollam, Kerala. He is very poor and last 8 years ago he borrowed Rs. 7.45 lakhs loan.
But he was unable to repay the loan amount. Due to this, the loan taken by him along with interest is Rs. 12 lakhs increased. After this, a notice was sent from the bank that the house will be confiscated if the loan is not repaid.
But in the next two hours he got Rs.70 lakh in the form of lottery.
Pukunju buys lottery tickets every now and then. The lottery ticket bought like that has been given to him. Lottery ticket has saved him who was in the condition of losing his house. This incident has caused great surprise among the locals.
