A pizza courier ran to a burning house and saved 5 children: “Heroic”

by time news

He told authorities he ran into the house through the back door after driving through the place and noticed flames around midnight. His screams woke the four children, ages 18 to 18, sleeping upstairs, before helping them out. The children alerted Boost that a 6-year-old might still be inside and he ran back inside “without hesitation,” and returned to the bedroom upstairs, according to the announcement. When he found no one, he started looking for an exit before he heard crying coming from below.

Bostich wrapped his shirt around his mouth and nose while he was wrapped in a “black lagoon” of smoke in the stairwell to rescue the boy. “Because he did not find the door he used through the thick smoke, they went back upstairs, where Boostik took a window out of place before jumping to the ground while making sure the child landed safely,” the police report states.
