We undoubtedly have, at the opening ceremony, a very particular security challenge, we have known this since the first day.” For her, “Paris will not be in a state of emergency”.
“We will be ready” on transport
For this opening ceremony, Amélie Oudéa-Castéra ensures that there is “no plan B, we have a plan A in which there are several plans”. “We have a certain number of adjustment variables,” she explains. This is the case for the artistic, which will only be finalized in the spring with the capacity to modulate, to reduce certain parts of this programming. » Other “adjustment variables” concern the “number of festivities points” and the “management of security perimeters”.
On the question of transport, subject to debate since the comments of the mayor of Paris Anne Hidalgo, Oudéa-Castéra is still trying to reassure. “We will be ready. We have very important work to do to finalize the infrastructure and complete the final elements of the transport plans. But for the rest, there is no alert. Above all, we have big bosses in our transport operators, teams in their thousands mobilized to be ready on D-day.”
