Dramatic moment a small plane landed safely in the hills after the pilot deployed a parachute to bring the plane to the ground safely: Footage released by Brazilian media shows a single-engine plane descending with a giant red and white parachute above it. The plane, which was carrying six people, including a three-year-old boy and a three-day-old baby, landed on a hill near the city of Belo Horizonte in Brazil on March 11.

Local residents near the crash site filmed the emergency landing and shared the footage in WhatsApp chat groups. The plane was equipped with a special parachute for use in an emergency situation to protect all passengers while the plane slowly landed on the ground. Six people were on board, four adults, a three-year-old boy and a three-day-old baby, no one was hurt.
A spokesman for the fire brigade said: “The plane left the airport at 14:28 on March 11. The plane reached a maximum altitude of 7,000 feet at 14:35, and then began its descent back towards the airport. The pilot reported a loss of engine power, he tried to return to the field Aviation and activated the parachute when he realized there was not enough time.”
The spokesman for the fire department added: “All the passengers were conscious, and without injuries.”
