Kozhikode: The girl along with her parents appeared at the police station after the Plus Two student entered the MBBS class of the Kozhikode Medical College. The student, who did not qualify for admission, sat in the MBBS class for four days. No case has been registered in the incident yet.

The medical college police said that further matters will be decided after consulting the college authorities. It cannot be said that the child impersonated. It has not yet been proven that the document was forged. It is indicated that the case was not filed because he did not commit any criminal offense and because of the future of the child studying in Plus Two.

The police said that the parents have informed that they can produce more documents the next day. Koduvalli is a native of Patannakkav and appeared in the first year MBBS class at Kozhikode Medical College without getting admission.

When the NEET results came out, the boy had gone on an excursion to Goa with his family. Since the rank was within 15,000, the hope was to definitely get a seat. When friends and relatives were told that they would get a seat, there was an outpouring of congratulations. Locals celebrated the girl’s victory by setting up a flux.

After not getting a seat, the depressed girl came to the class to convince her family and locals. The child also convinced his parents that he got the seat. He came to class from November 29 to December 2. The incident came to the attention of the authorities when he did not appear on the fifth day. With this, the principal lodged a complaint with the medical college police on Thursday.

The Principal reported the incident to the Director of Medical Education. This student came to the college after the second allotment.

When the students reached the college together, the register was prepared without looking at the admit card. According to the report, that is why the girl’s name entered the register. In the incident, the principal sought an explanation from five people including the class coordinator and department heads in charge of the first year batch. This information is also included in the report to the Director of Education.

250 students were admitted to the first year MBBS. On the day the girl came to the class, 245 people got admission. The child’s name was included in the list at the 246th place. Four days later, when the register was compared with the admission list, it was realized that one child was in the class without being counted.

With this, the course coordinator informed the principal of the medical college.
