Initial report: A car hit a policewoman and injured her in a light-moderate way. Suspicion of a PFA incident was investigated.

The police report that during a police activity of the Eirat station together with the traffic department, the police noticed a vehicle that aroused their suspicion at the Shukat intersection, near the settlement of Carmit. The policemen began checking the vehicle which at some point began to drive wildly, hit the policewoman and fled.

According to medical officials, the policeman was slightly-moderately injured. The offending vehicle was located in the Hora settlement and two local suspects were arrested for involvement in the incident. They were transferred for questioning.

The MDA reported that: “At 4:19 p.m., a report was received at MDA’s 101 hotline in the Negev region about a pedestrian who was hit by a vehicle on Highway 60 near Carmit. MDA medics and paramedics are providing medical treatment and referring a 22-year-old woman to Soroka Hospital in moderate condition with bruises on the back and limbs.”

MDA medics Roman Bai and Ismail Abu Abli said: “The injured woman was lying on the road while she was fully conscious and suffering from bruises on her back and limbs. We gave her initial medical treatment that included immobilization and evacuated her for further treatment at the hospital when her condition is stable.”
