In the case of these events, the man was charged in a final ruling on August 31, 2020 of the Court of Violence against Women number 3 of Seville with the penalty, among others, of 16 months of prohibition of communication and approach within 300 meters of the victim. in relation to harmful crime in the field of gender violence, a ban that ended on 23 December 2021.

The Prosecutor’s Office says that during the validity period of that sentence, the accused and the victim ceased their relationship, and that they were maintaining a romantic relationship with other people, however, on an undetermined date but after December 23, 2021, the two resumed their relationship and, from February 2022, when the deceased stopped working as an intern in a house and started providing services as an outsider, they resumed living together in the room same for rent.

The accused acted “out of jealousy”

In this sense, he points out that, from the income received from her work, the victim had saved almost 32,000 euros in a bank checking account of which she was the sole owner, with an associated bank card “that she carried in something that the defendant was “familiar with,” “resuming the relationship that prompted that reason.”

The Public Ministry indicates that on April 24, 2022, the two were gathered in the living room of the building with some friends from the morning “drinking beer and dancing”, after that, at a particular time in the afternoon-night, the an investigator. He “noticed” that his romantic partner had “marks on her neck that he had not given her and he became upset, and they both started an argument” in which the deceased told him that he was very old and that he was bored she would rather be” with a man “she spent the night and the day before.”

A moment later, the accused “went to the affected woman, who was sitting in a chair and, “surprisingly and in order to harm her physical integrity, he gave her a strong blow in the face and stripped her, previously to those who were present. he had to intervene to help him, taking the accused away from him,” after which he “left the town very angry.”

The Prosecutor’s Office says that, some time later, the investigating person returned to the house and, as soon as he saw him, the victim “drunkenly went into his bedroom and closed the door, leaving the accused as together with the guests in the living room. ,” noting, After a while, when all the friends had fallen asleep in the living room, the accused went into the bedroom he shared with the victim and, “he moved with jealousy and intent the t -making money that was his own, knowing that she intended to abandon him” for another man and “take advantage of the vulnerable position she became when the copious alcohol intake took effect on her psychophysical ability and that she was unprepared, he placed himself on top of her suddenly and reliably. in order to kill her.”.

He seized 8,140 euros from the account of the deceased

Therefore, and according to the prosecutor’s account, the accused, who is in temporary prison for these events from June 24, 2022, immobilized her “by pressing her chest and thorax with the weight of his own body, while she holding” her neck tightly to prevent it from moving and blocking her airways, with her hand or a pillow,” all this until the woman died of mechanical asphyxiation.

Then, “and to eliminate any biological verse that could connect him to what happened,” the accused “packed the dead body” of his romantic partner. At approximately 10:00 a.m. on April 25, the defendant kicked all his guests out of the house “under the pretext that he wanted to talk alone” with the victim, so that “he was dismantled during the day. ” throwing them into different garbage containers”, and later, around 11:30 pm the same day, and using a wheelbarrow, “he moved the body and threw it on the bank of the Guadalquivir River, over the Bridge del Alamillo, hidden among bushes. .”

The Prosecutor’s Office states that the body remained in that place until June 21, 2022, when the accused, after his arrest, revealed his location. Also, the person under investigation and “under the direction of the intent of the illicit benefit”, appropriated the deceased’s bank card and, knowing her PIN because she had provided it to him on previous occasions, went to several ATMs which he withdrew. various amounts of money, taking a total of 8,140 euros from his partner’s account between April 25 and May 7.

Meanwhile, the accused, “in order to eliminate any suspicion that could be associated with the death, spread among friends and relatives” that the victim “left voluntarily with another man and faked its connections with the social networks Facebook and Messenger”, maintains. the Public Ministry, which concludes that the accused and the deceased “were stably linked through an emotional relationship similar to marriage, and within that coexistence the death occurred, precisely because she was a woman . and because of his desire to break the relationship, which the accused did not want to accept.”
