If you have set up an ecological, social and solidarity transition project in Luxembourg and you want to make it known, or if you want to find where this type of project is organized in the country, the BiBe portal should help you.

A rather easy-to-remember site name: BiBe for Bierger (citizens) and Bedeelegung (participation), two words that constitute the vision and mission of the project developed by the Center for Ecological Learning Luxembourg (CELL) in collaboration with the University of Luxembourg and financial support from the Spatial Planning Department of the Ministry of Energy and Spatial Planning.

The CELL has in fact just developed a website entirely dedicated to those who are interested in this evolution towards a new economic and social model which provides a solution to the major environmental challenges of our century. Its objective is to encourage citizens to engage in the co-creation of new transition spaces, to publicize and give visibility to citizen and municipal transition projects in Luxembourg and to help citizens find initiatives in their municipalities. or region to facilitate their involvement in local projects, find inspiration and showcase their expertise.

Concretely, BiBe is a directory of reference, dissemination and promotion of ecological, social and solidarity transition projects carried out in Luxembourg. Whether third places, repair cafés, climate coaches or citizen cooperatives, it provides a simple and common space that promotes the sharing of resources, exchange and connection between citizens and bearers of transition projects.

On BiBe, Internet users can already find presentations of the Repair Café project or the “Green Belt” project, developed as part of the international consultation Luxembourg in Transition, which aims to create a network of varied and well-connected natural habitats around the City of Luxembourg and the center agglomeration.
