/ Al-Qasim Club tied with its guest, Al-Talaba Club, 2-2, in the 12th round of the Iraq Stars Football League.
The match took place at 1:30 pm today, Sunday, at Karbala International Stadium. The first half ended with Al-Qassim leading with two free goals for Al-Talaba. Al-Qassem’s first goal came from Alaa Muhaisen in the 19th minute, and Alaa Muhaisen returned to score Al-Qasim’s second goal in the 44th minute.
In the second half, Al-Talaba reduced the score in the 57th minute through Antwi Deans, who returned to score the equalizer five minutes before the end of the match.
The meeting was led by a refereeing team consisting of Ahmed Qasim, the field referee, assisted by Alaa Jawad, the first assistant, Muhammad Ahmed, the second assistant, Alaa Salam, the fourth referee, and Laith Farhan, the “far” referee.
