Second 9to5Macwho shared a mockup image, the‘iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max may come in a gold finish. This information is based on sources considered reliable, and the publication believes the image is “likely” accurate.
The iPhone 15 Pro was the first high-end model not to be available in a gold color since the launch of the iPhone X. Devices currently come in four finishes: Natural Titanium, Blue Titanium, White Titanium, and Black Titanium. The introduction of a gold option for the iPhone 16 Pro models would therefore mark a return to tradition.
Rumors have long been circulating that the iPhone 16 Pro models could be offered in a gold or bronze color, replacing the current Blue Titanium. With Apple’s September 9 event just around the corner, we won’t have to wait long to find out.
