Annadurai’s daughter Meena (28) hails from Nanchei Idyar village near Paramathivelur in Namakkal district. He is working as a lecturer in English department in a private self-financed college in Paramathivelur. In this situation, a student named Praveen (24), son of Ramesh from Nallakumaran Palayam near Velakaundampatti, who is studying in the same college, fell in love with her.
The college management came to know about this and sent them away after warning them. Knowing this, both of them strongly opposed the love in their homes. Regardless of all that, on the 8th, both of them left the house and went to Tiruvannamalai and got married.
Later, both of them took refuge in the Velakaundampatti police station yesterday seeking protection for themselves. After that, the police called the two families and negotiated. They sent student Praveen and college lecturer Meena along with his parents, saying that since both are majors, they have the means to live according to their will. The incident where the lecturer fell in love with the student and got married has created a lot of excitement in the college community and that area.
