Next September 22, 2024Quito will also host the Bimbo Global Race 2024, the largest race with a social purpose in the world organized by Grupo Bimbo. This event, which will take place in the Bicentenario Park, seeks to increase participation by 29% compared to the previous year to increase bread donations to the Quito Food Bank.

In the previous edition, Bimbo Ecuador donated 35,940 pieces of breadbenefiting 12,000 people in vulnerable situations. This year, the goal is to exceed that number, contributing 20 pieces of bread for each registered participant. Globally, the race will take place in more than 34 countries, with the participation of more than 140,000 people.
