The study, published in the “pnas” journal, indicated that shift workers are at a 25 to 40% risk of depression and anxiety, as shift workers suffer from a mismatch between the central daily clock and the daily environmental and behavioral cycles, pointing out that eating during the day prevents weakness. the mood.

Dr. Ahmed Bahaa, a gastroenterologist, warned against eating immediately before bed, stressing that it is one of the most bad habits that affect the health of the body, and increases the risk of obesity and digestive problems.

Bahaa pointed out in statements today, Friday, that eating food immediately before bedtime increases the risk of developing esophageal reflux, causes heartburn, indigestion and severe disturbances, and increases the risk of esophageal cancer.

A gastroenterologist advised eating a fruit before going to sleep for a sufficient period of time.
