by time news
A new report revealed that the percentage of personal computers running Windows 11 reached 15.44%, recording an increase of 1.83% within one month.

According to what was published by StatCounter, the Windows 10 operating system holds a share of 71.29%, compared to 71.88% last September.

In third place was Windows 7 with 9.61%, Windows 8.1 with 2.45%, Windows 8 with 0.69%, and Windows XP with a 0.39% share.

Microsoft’s Windows operating system accounts for 76% of the total PC operating system market, followed by Apple’s macOS operating system with 15.7% and Linux is third with 2.6%.

In an overview of the smart systems market, Android still holds the lion’s share with a market share of 42.37%.

In second place comes Windows with a share of 30.11%, iOS is third with 17.6%, and in fourth place comes macOS with 6.24%, while Linux is in fifth place with a market share of 1.04%.

It is reported that Windows 11 officially arrived on the market on the fifth of October last year, after Microsoft had promised in 2015 that it would not launch a new operating system to succeed Windows 10, but it would focus more on developing features and providing new services, given that it sees “ Windows is more of a service than an operating system that is enhanced annually with a new version.

One of the main reasons for Microsoft’s release of Windows 11 is to enhance the level of security and stability of personal computers.

According to a report from research firm Lansweeper, 42.76% of the 27 million PCs tested across 60,000 organizations were found to be ineligible in terms of their internal hardware and capabilities to run Windows 11.

But with the current deteriorating economic conditions in the world, it is expected that the Windows 10 option will continue to be the best for companies and organizations that are unable to radically update their corporate computers, enabling them to make their employees able to experience Windows 11.
