Lod police officers launched an accelerated investigation yesterday (Thursday), in accordance with the Central District’s strategy against violent crime on Arab Street, upon receiving a report of suspected threats against a murdered sister from Lod, while she was taking the victim’s children to an educational institution in the city.
In the meantime, the station’s investigators arrested the suspect, a resident of the city in his thirties, and in the end he was imprisoned. The police intend to bring him to a hearing today at the Magistrate’s Court in Petah Tikva, with a request to extend his detention in accordance with the needs of the investigation and its findings.
