LMercury is expected to rise again in the weekend of August 10 and 11. Three weeks after the first heat wave of the summer, the new mountain may return to France on Thursday in the southern parts, before spreading throughout the country language in the following days, according to Meteo France.
“From Thursday, temperatures rose in the south of France. Very high temperatures continue and increase around the Mediterranean and in the Rhône Valley. […] However, the hot air mass is moving northward over the weekend, especially on Sunday, a day during which we will observe a heat wave throughout the country,” noted the scientists.
A mountain on Sunday before the arrival of storms

On Sunday, the heat will heat up for the closing ceremony of the Olympic Games. All regions should record temperatures above 30°C, especially on the Mediterranean coast and in the West, with peaks of 40°C expected in New Aquitaine.
However, high mercury may not last long. “The exact timing will depend on the arrival of storms, which can lower temperatures. This outlook is planned for Sunday evening on the Atlantic arc, and it seems to be extended to Monday morning for the North-West and then to Wednesday for the Eastern areas,” indicate the experts from Weather Channel.
