Valeo, a leading automotive supplier and partner to car manufacturers around the world, and the Israeli company C2A Security, a provider of automatic cyber security solutions for connected, autonomous and electric vehicles, announce a strategic collaboration to improve the cyber security of Valeo’s products in the area of software development and operations. The new partnership addresses current and future industry needs, and enables effective cyber security.
The partnership reflects the growing need to manage software on a large scale and protect electric, connected, autonomous vehicles and the new software-based vehicles. This, based on the understanding of the challenges currently facing car manufacturers, Tier 1 suppliers and other suppliers. The priority given in the automotive industry to the issue of security increases as cars become more software-based, and new regulations in the cyber field come into force. Additionally, with inefficient and manual management of automotive products, cybersecurity can become a real bottleneck to creating competitive solutions and features, raising the need for automated, scalable, and scalable cybersecurity solutions.
