A Russian bombardment leaves at least 11 civilians dead and 21 injured in Sloviansk

At least 11 people have died and 21 have been injured this friday after a Russian shelling in the city of Sloviansk, in Donetskas reported by the spokesperson for the State Emergency Service of this region, Veronika Bajal, in her Telegram account.

“The number of victims of the bombardment of Sloviansk has increased to 11 people,” Bajal declared, updating previous estimates that included a two-year-old boy among those killed in this city, 45 kilometers from Bakhmut, one of the current epicenters of the war.

Later the authorities have confirmed that there were five missing persons whom they are looking for under the rubble. The State Emergency Service has indicated that “Under the rubble there are still five people whose identities have already been established”.
