Following a massive Russian attack on the city of Dnipro in Ukraine, using Russian and Iranian suicide drones, the alarms were activated and 7 drones were intercepted, but one of them hit and blew up a factory in the south of the city, next to which is the matzah bakery “Teferat Matzat”.

The fire that burned the neighboring factory began to spread and threatened to consume the matzah bakery as well and large fire brigades were called to the area to fight the fire. At the same time, representatives of the Jewish community were also called to the scene to arrange to remove equipment that could be taken out, as well as hundreds of kilograms of unleavened bread that were baked yesterday for the Jews of the city.

In the end, after nerve-racking hours, the Ukrainian firefighters managed to overcome the fire and put it out before the flames reached the bakery building.

The “Glory of Matzot” was established 20 years ago and is under the supervision of the Rabbi of the city, Rabbi Shmuel Kaminetzky of Israel. As recently published, tens of tons of matzot were baked there during the winter months and they were distributed by the “Federation of Jewish Communities in Ukraine” to 50,000 households throughout Across the country, in addition to the public events that the federation with rabbis and Chabad representatives will hold in synagogues for 25,000 Jews throughout Ukraine where they will all observe unleavened bread from unleavened bread baked in the “Glory of Unleavened Bread”.

The chairman of the federation, Rabbi Meir Stambler, says that: The mafia continues to work around the clock, until and including Passover Eve, to make sure that not a single Jew is left in Ukraine without unleavened bread.
