Watan Al-Youm: The latest weather updates indicate that Jordan was affected by a depression, which was classified as a second-degree depression, according to the Arab Weather Center’s depression classification scale.
The next low is a normal winter, starting Friday night into Saturday, and continuing on Saturday and Sunday, accompanied by sometimes heavy rain, especially in the north of the Kingdom.
Below is an explanation of some of the characteristics of the depression:
Expected amounts of rain range from 5 to 50 mm, and some wind gusts may reach 65 km/h.
The areas affected by the depression are primarily the northern regions, followed by the central regions, in addition to parts of southern and eastern Jordan, where the duration of the depression’s impact reaches 45 hours.
Maximum and minimum temperatures range from 5 to 14 degrees Celsius, while there are no chances of snowfall
