A woman in Bogota she was left in a coma after undergoing liposuction in an aesthetic center from the Santa Librada neighborhood, in the town of Usme, south of Bogotá, last Thursday, March 23.
Apparently, the woman, who worked as a caretaker at Kennedy Hospital, the aesthetic procedure would have been performed in a place that he had found on social networks that offered him the surgical intervention at a very low price. The place had already aroused suspicion among the authorities, since it had barely been open to the public for three months.
The victim’s family told Blu Radio and Noticias Caracol that suspicions about the place increased days later when the woman, in the middle of the recovery process, started to feel some aches and painsso he decided to go to a health center, where he she had to be intervened urgently.
The family also told Noticias Caracol that after having undergone liposuction “He came out in critical condition, the procedure was very invasive and he was left in a coma. As a result of the surgery, they gave him burns on his abdomen and everything began to get complicated,” he said.
The family has tried to contact the clinic and the alleged plastic surgeon who operated on her, but it has not been possible. They have already filed a complaint with the authorities, who are already on the trail of those responsible.
