A shocking case in the USA: A 6-year-old boy shot his teacher at an elementary school in Virginia yesterday (Friday) and fatally wounded her. The boy’s weapon was confiscated and he was taken into custody. Also, it is not yet clear where the boy got the weapon.

The Virginia police said that the case began after apparently a confrontation between the teacher and the student, who suddenly pulled out a weapon and shot her one bullet. The teacher, in her 30s, was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.

The inspector of public schools in the district said: “I am shocked and disappointed. We must educate our children and we must protect them. We must make sure that weapons are not available to children and youth.”
