Two people were killed and another injured on the night of Monday to Tuesday in the La Madeleine district of Évreux, in a shooting, the perpetrators of which are on the run, learned Agence France-Presse (AFP) from police sources.
“It is probably a settling of scores around narcotics”, according to these sources, which report “a caliber used which could correspond to Kalashnikov shots”.
“Two cars were in pursuit when the occupants of the pursuing car fired shots at the first vehicle, killing two people and injuring another, a priori all men”, explained one of these sources.
The ages of the victims were not immediately announced. According to these sources, one of the perpetrators is known to the police for drug trafficking. The investigation was entrusted to the territorial direction of the judicial police of Rouen.
