A short football; Dharma Shasta in the final Dinamalar

Coimbatore: Dharmashastha School qualified for the finals of the football competition for ‘A’ medium students after showing excellent performances in both sections.

On behalf of Coimbatore District School Education Department and Vinayakapuram Elango Matriculation School, ‘B’ Short Center Sports Competition was held at Saravanampatti KGISL College. In this, football matches were held in two categories namely 17 and 19. In the 19-year-old football first match, Jayandra School and Hindustan Matric High School clashed. At the end of the game, Jayandra School won with a score of 2-1.

In the second match, the teams of Venkatalakshmi School and PSG Sarvajana School clashed. In this, Venkatalakshmi School team won with a score of 3-2. In the third match between Sri Dharmashastha School and Ondiputur Govt High School, Sri Dharmashastha School won by 5-0.

In the next match between Gopal Naidu and Venkatalakshmi Schools, Gopal Naidu School team won by 2-1. In the match between Sri Dharmashastha School and Jayandra School, Dharmashasha School won with a score of 4-1.

In the 17-year-old category, Sri Dharmashastha School defeated Srimati Padmavati School by 6-0. The second match was between Gopal Naidu School and Venkatalakshmi School. In this, Gopal Naidu School won with a score of 4-0. In another match, Gopal Naidu School defeated Govt. High School, Ondiputdur by 1-0.
