A signal from space: the new image from the Webb Telescope

by time news

NASA, the American space agency, published this evening (Tuesday) additional documentation from the James Webb Space Telescope. The image highlights the Wheel Galaxy, which was created as a result of a high-speed collision 440 million years ago, and two neighboring galaxies next to it. The image, created by the combination of the instruments in the telescope, Sheds new light on the way in which that galaxy has changed over billions of years.

About three weeks ago, the American space agency revealed the first documents of the space telescope. The first photograph shown, in a special briefing at a ceremony at the White House, with the participation of the President of the United States Joe Biden, presented a cluster of galaxies known as SMACS0723.
