The Zliten Municipality Follow-up Committee followed up on the situation in the municipality, the projects that were implemented and the plans to be implemented, in the presence of the Minister of Local Government and members of the committee, the Technical Committee of the Housing and Utilities Projects Implementation Agency, the Zliten Municipality, and the Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs.
During the meeting, the Minister of Local Government confirmed that all executive agencies in the state are working in a professional manner to implement the tasks assigned to them, starting with monitoring the daily conditions of citizens, completing the compensation inventory, and starting the targeted contracts within the technical plan.
The mayor of Zliten municipality presented a general position on the situation in the municipality, stressing its stability and the continuation of the work of the municipality and the executive bodies in all fields under the supervision of the Supreme Committee for monitoring the situation in the municipality.
The Technical Committee also presented a presentation on the technical studies and work completed by the consulting offices and executive agencies for drilling and maintaining wells, the National Oil Corporation and the Housing and Utilities Projects Implementation Agency.
The attendees discussed the file of compensation for citizens through a report submitted by the Ministry of Housing and Construction and the Municipality of Zliten, which reported the inventory and evaluation of 1,549 files submitted by citizens in 11 localities, in addition to inventorying the damages to public facilities such as schools, mosques, and health facilities, and preparing the necessary assessments to begin their maintenance in coordination with the Centers and Development Authority. Administrative.
The Director of the National Center for Disease Control provided a health advisor on the municipality of Zliten, noting the positive situation in coordination with the General Administration of Environmental Sanitation, and dividing the municipality into several regions according to the environmental and health situation.
The director of the center confirmed the continuation of work through health and technical teams, and coordination with the municipality to provide drinking water, which has contributed to the decrease in cases of diarrhea and skin rashes since the beginning of the crisis, and the provision of mobile clinics equipped with medical rooms ready to provide the service in coordination with the municipal health services department.
