Free rhythmic gymnastics classes for girls 7-12 years old with mental disorders have started in the Novgorod sports health center “Galatea”. This was reported by the press service of the Regional Public Organization “Novgorod Sports Health Center Galatea”.

Classes are held twice a week, as part of the “Olympic Lights” adaptive sports project. The project involves the creation of an experimental site for preparation for the official sport of the Special Olympics – rhythmic gymnastics. It is aimed at the development of adaptive sports, the involvement of children with mental disorders in physical activity.

The successes of children will inspire parents, pride and faith in new achievements will appear.
