“A state-of-the-art chat machine that knows feelings!” – Termination of Coo’s senior staff

A senior software engineer who claimed that Goo’s artificial intelligence conversational engine LaMDA has the ability to recognize emotions has been fired.

Goos said the employee violated company policies and lacked evidence for his claims.

“Having said all that, he decided to continue to violate information security policies,” a company spokesman said.

He pointed out that one of the policies is to protect the company’s material data.

The machine LaMDA was developed based on human speech. It has the power to talk about anything.

So many researchers immediately dismissed the employee’s claim.
